Ten years ago, I set myself a goal: to read 100 books a year. Over that time, I’ve read around 1,017 books.
I truly believe that every book changes the person who reads it. Through reflecting on and emotionally experiencing what we read, we form a subjective experience very similar to living through real events. In that sense, each book becomes a lived experience. Every book is a small life that passes through us, leaving its mark and shaping the “lens” through which we see the world, make decisions, and interpret reality. That’s why I want to share a short list of books that have stayed with me the most over the years. I find myself returning to them in my thoughts again and again — and it feels like their ideas and meanings have, in one way or another, shaped how I see the world today.
